Measuring multiple neurotransmitters
Client needed to identify a pharmacodynamic measurement for their compound, but didn’t know where to start.
We designed a program to leverage our SymDaq extraction method for increased accuracy and sensitivity in LC-MS/MS detection, as well as lower sample volumes, and enhanced overall sensitivity and efficiency.
To measure multiple neurotransmitters in the mouse brain.
We were able to identify specific changes in low levels of one of the 18 transmitters measured, allowing our client to better understand the mechanistic changes evoked by their compounds. This data aided in compound selection, as well as further clinical development.
